First it was sequencing the human genome. Now the use of genomics in a systematic way is dawning in the Australian health care system.

In the next decade knowledge about how variation in our genomes affects our health is expected to increase dramatically.

It is therefore critical that we have the infrastructure, processes and policies in place to ensure we deliver on our promise of better health outcomes.
