Introducing genomicsinfo.org.au

Home All news & events News Introducing genomicsinfo.org.au

The website, genomicsinfo.org.au, shares a whole range of easy-to-understand genomic resources.

Some have been created by Australian Genomics, and others developed by genetics services, health and research centres and patient support groups.

On the site you will find helpful resources on:

  • Genetics and genomics
  • Genetic testing
  • Genetic counselling
  • Genetic testing and insurance
  • Pharmacogenomics
  • Data sharing
  • Cancer genomics, and
  • Guidance on discussing genetic test results with family

The genomicsinfo.org.au website is designed for people currently undergoing, or considering genomic testing, or anyone who wants to learn more about genetics and genomics.

We encourage health professionals to also access and share these resources.

The website has been developed under our Genomics in the Community initiative.

The initiative is a collaboration between Australian Genomics and patient advocacy groups, and it aims to provide the community with accessible evidence-based information about genomics and genomic testing.

Thank you to all the contributors to this project. Please visit genomicsinfo.org.au and share on social media!
