The inaugural Australian Precision Oncology Symposium will be held at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney, Australia on 7-8th September, 2018.

The Symposium will be a 1.5 day interactive meeting, with an anticipated 80-100 participants, including medical and academic oncologists, pathologists, clinical researchers, and members of the pharmaceutical and research sector.

Two international speakers are confirmed for the Symposium: Dr Peter Campbell from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, UK, and Dr Razelle Kurzrock from UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, USA.

The Symposium will also include:

  • National speakers on the precision medicine landscape, clinical trials and research infrastructure, and genomics in clinical practice, including Professor Stephen Fox, Professor Michelle Haber, Professor Hamish Scott, Professor Sarah-Jane Dawson, Professor Clare Scott and Professor David Thomas;
  • interactive workshops that explore best practice; and
  • panels of interdisciplinary experts

Registration fees

  • Early bird* (closes 27 July 2018): AUD $300 (excl. GST and booking fee)
  • Regular* (closes 24 August 2018): AUD $390 (excl. GST and booking fee)
  • Evening event only (closes 24 August): AUD $100 (excl. GST and booking fee)
