Australian Genomics: integrating genomic testing into healthcare

Home All news & events News Australian Genomics: integrating genomic…

The outstanding achievements of the Australian Genomics research model are featured in the latest edition of international magazine Research Outreach.

In our first five years, 21 rare disease and cancer studies have been launched across 32 clinical sites, the network has quadrupled in size, we have consolidated national and global genomic engagement and exceeded delivery on our research and clinical outcomes.

While much has been achieved, there is more yet to be done to integrate genomic testing into mainstream clinical care. Read more about some of the remarkable research across the network and further work to come to ensure genomic medicine benefits more patients and their families.
