About the 47th HGSA Annual Scientific Meeting

The theme for the 2024 meeting is “Beyond Next Generation: The future of genomics”.

The conference program will cover a wide range of topics related to human genetics and genomics, and provide a platform for researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to share their latest findings and collaborate on future research directions.

Special Interest Group Meetings will be held on Saturday and the Conference program will run from Saturday evening to Tuesday.


Plenary Sessions will cover topics on each of the following themes:

  1. Genomics and AI
  2. Variant interpretation – resolving uncertainty
  3. Multidisciplinary approaches to health and wellbeing
  4. Emerging therapies in genomics
  5. Showcasing cancer genetics
  6. Education, Ethics & Social Issues
